Paint Design Dilemma living room

Paint Colors for Living Room and Kitchen

I moved into a place with a lot of dark beige. If the wood floor and white cabinets stay the same, what color would you paint the room? Does the midnight blue still work for an accent wall? All furniture will be changed. Any and all ideas are welcome - thank you!

Lose the accent wall. Paint the area the same color as the living room.

pictures would help (is it semi-open plan? how much light the living gets? what is the flooring? ceiling height? what is your style, preferences, existing furnishings/plan for these? etc) otherwise, without knowing anything.. -some whites would work -not in all rooms, but generally speaking. off whites.. -one can use another shade of green -say a bit darker or a bit lighter one. You'll have your definition, but it'll be subtler one -certain soft purples look amazing next to greens

The first post w furniture are from my old house as I don’t have anything in the new house now as we are still renovating. The kitchen table I want to eventually replace or color. the second post shows the sun room and kitchen nook from the kitchen and sunroom to kitchen. The kitchen has a half wall to the living room. No rug has been decided. One note- we are going to refinish the floors and deciding bt these two (Special walnut and medium brown) but my husband wants special walnut. Also I have 8 foot ceilings 😥 Does that help?

I think you just need a navy patterned area rug for your seating area. The colors look okay and have a coastal feel.

Question: Is the stairwell a darker color then the living room wall?

Maybe if you changed the lightbulbs to a white light,(non yellow) it would make a difference in how the paint color looks to you. Cheap fix
