grey -white bathroom and what color?
Comments (16)Thanks! I agree the blue looks really nice- that is one of the contenders though I was thinking of a paler blue. I am now of course having strong second thoughts that I probably should have painted the vanity dark dark brown. I dont think I have it in me to re-paint it now. I think the pale blue with the grey and white can look very spa-like as someone suggested........Threegrad- what finish is the light fixture over the mirror? It looks really nice, and I am noticing that it looks orb-ish and it still seems to go very nicely with the other silver tones in the bath(faucets and hardware)... is it orb or is it the monitor messing with me?...See MoreRustic guest bathroom finished! Comments (20)Artemis - surprisingly, I haven't had any issues keeping these towels white and I've had them for about 3-4 years. A bright pink item actually snuck into my last load of white towels (which streaked everything pink!) and just one wash with Oxy whitener made them bright white again. They're Charisma towels from Costco so not a great expense to replace if needed. Sheeisback - thanks! I agree about the ivory. The yellow seems okay in person but not quite right in the pictures....See MoreColored towel bars for the bathroom possible?
Comments (3)Thank you Kats737. This will be very helpful to me for a whole other project. I would point out to everyone who might want to buy a toothbrush holder, that, generally, when these were in style, all toothbrushes were alike, and they all fit those holes. No more. I've got them in the bathrooms I'm renovating, and we haven't been able to keep toothbrushes in them for decades....See MoreGray or Espresso Vanity in sort of gray bathroom.
Comments (10)I also like the idea of adding wood into the room for warmth. Your glass tile looks very different in these photos vs. in your room (bc it’s stuck in a dark corner rt now - I assume that you’ll have some lighting over there). I am currently deciding on the color for my vanity - marble tile in shower/around tub/charcoal slate herringbone floor. Plus, I’m making a final decision about adding this tile on the wall behind my vanity/mirrors So - the colors in my bathroom are very similar to the colors in yours. A professional told me that my idea to incorporate wood would looks nice - and agreed it would bring some warmth to the space. I’ve been saving some wood vanity ideas re: color/species I did have a highly respected pro here on Houzz suggest that I add a white vanity vs. wood in order to not detract from the aqua tile if I use it. Here is your bathroom accent tile with a white vanity Not sure if you’ve thought about using some of the tile by the vanity - it would look very pretty!...See More- 5 years ago
