Comments (13)PPF, I'm looking at our roof plan (shown below) and I think we have the lower pitch roof hidden in the back like you are talking about already. I think the trickery will come in moving the point where the 4:12 roof hits the 12:12 roof. There might be limits there to not change ceiling height on the second floor. Comments (4)Means that you can bring the trim (1x4) over the window slightly and bury some of the frame on the sides behind the trim. Comments (3)The look is DARK so I would go a shade darker with your trims. What you do with the house you match the car port. As far as wood walkways...I would look for a paint with texture so it's not slippery when wet. That's is a lot of maintenance.
