Comments (15)Wow! I hadn't heard of Blackberry Queen before, but I love your photo. I'll have to check into that one. Approach to Dramatics captivates me too. I just love those red eyes and edges. Debra...See MoreI missed peak, but still lots of blooms
Comments (18)It was a little frustrating not being able to fully enjoy the daylilies, but I did get to fully enjoy my grandsons and that's even better--and they are even more gorgeous too! I was up in the morning before they were so I got to get out for a little while every day. Thanks for all the comments. I sometimes think I've gone overboard on the watermarks, but I love them and just can't resist. Many of these are quite new so I don't know yet about performance. Isle of Patmos does have amazing branching though. I've had Love on a Wire a little longer and it has great branching and budcount and increases very well. Comments (10)Hi Jen, i was thinking of you today looking at my Makaha Sunn. Now I understand how much you love this beauty.. OMG. I'm thrilled at its coloration as well as its strong fragrance. Blaze is doing well and I keep thinking I will see an inflo appear, but I'm just being patient and hopeful... It has three or four tips. I will post a picture of it for you tomorrow. It's a beauty and it looks ready to push.. It has the look of maturity!! ;-) My AB is looking good too., how is yours doing? I took a picture of that a few days ago to post for James. I keep thinking it may do something this year. I know, wishful thinking.. Sigh.. i hope you are enjoying your beautiful weather.. We are having a nice summer, but I can feel the change at night . I'm starting to see some yellowing on the bottom leaves, they sure know when the amount of light declines and the cool nights start to make them think of sleeping. What a sad time.. I still have a few more months, but it will slow down after September. October will be the last month and then at the end of he month, it will be time to prepare.. Don't even want to think about it. :-( Have a great evening ! Laura...See MoreStill some blooming here - lots of Hansons and some others
Comments (20)Thanks, everyone! Mantis, I haven't had Tina's Siren Song long enough to be able to really comment on it. I got one fan in May 2016. It is now two fans, but only one scape. I just measured, it's close to 30" tall. I love the flowers and the fact that it has my Mom's name in it, which is why I suggested it as a bonus from Curt last year. I just noticed that one of it's parents is Filled To Overflowing, interesting. My Smokey Joe has more smoke most days, but did not on Friday. I will try to take more pictures of it next year... it starts blooming later than most and by then I am not taking many pictures, plus it's in an area that I can't get to easily, even from outside the netting fence....See More- 5 years ago
