I don't think you need anything in that space. Although the dog likes it, it seems to attract clutter. You could simplify the surface of the console so it doesn't complete with your gallery.

I like the layout. A ottoman that functions as a coffee table would work. I'd start by finding a great rug with a pattern to compliment the colors of your chair. Someone on houzz recommended Rug USA and the have an app to visualize the rug in your space. You have great windows, so I would do floor to ceiling drapery.

Cute pooch. Like your chairs and loveseat and tv console -- they work well together; those chair colors create a bit of a beach vibe -- something to consider as you decide what you want in your frames.

Are your current sheers are sized to fit -- be used with -- a long window?

Do you have a second, centered café rod with a second set of sheers.

With a wider (preferably double -- w/deeper sides) rod above your windows, you could put full length sheers behind and/or between two panels of drapes, with the drapes only covering left and right window frame but not covering the glass.

You might consider white miniblinds installed INSIDE the window frames for light/glare control and privacy that would still enable you to use sheers or curtains or drapes.

If you want/need to reuse your sheers, you could add a café rod so the bottom of your sheers are the same length as the bottom of your drapery panels -- preferably all just above and close to floor level but not actually touching the floor. To place the café rod at a logical place -- where the upper window and lower window meet -- you may need to make them shorter so the bottom is the same length as the bottom of your drape panels.

Do you want/need to reuse your current sheers?

If you sew, and if you have four short sheers (as it appears?), then you might hem two lengths of fabric, both top and bottom, to create your own drape panels and use some of the same fabric to connect two sheers to create two long sheers to hang between the two new curtain/drape panels, creating a matching set.

Would not permanently place either a coffee table or ottoman in your small space. What you might consider is investing in two sets of nesting tables. Nesting tables are two of the same tables, but one is smaller/shorter than the other and can rest/ hide beneath the larger one.

With the right set of nesting tables, the smaller table can be an individual coffee table or, with a throw pillow placed atop it, it could become an ottoman. That way you're not taking up space for either a coffee table or ottoman when you're not using them. Instead, you place a nesting pair of tables at each end of your sofa as an end table ( preferably with a tall thin lamp with mid sized white shade atop it).

If you are DIY inclined and/or budget challenged, for your gallery wall, consider framing pieces of fabric (at least temporarily) -- buying smaller pieces with designs and colors you like from the fabric department of WalMart -- and using some of the same fabric to create throw pillow covers or a quilt. You can always replace the framed fabric with pictures -- even your own photographs -- as you find something you like more.

For the space between your tv and refrigerator -- go vertical. Add a tall cabinet or shelving unit (at least as tall as the refrigerator) that can serve as a room divider and provide you storage space to minimize clutter. If possible, find two such cabinets/shelving units, one for each side of your tv and console.

As with all tall furnishings, especially where there are either small children and/or pets, you should be prepared to need to secure it to the wall so that it doesn't topple over. Keep in mind, as you search, that having a cabinet or shelving with a back or to which you could add a board at the back (atop or beneath the top shelf) with which to affix it to the wall, would be a good idea.

Yes on the drapes. I prefer solid colors for drapes, preferably from a solid color taken from something else in the room that isn't a solid color, but that is a matter of personal taste.

Some people prefer to put their curtain rods immediately above the window frame and others want their curtain rods at the ceiling.

Personally, if the rod is high above the window frame, I'd rather have a straight bottom valance in the same material that covers from rod to and over the top of the window frame and the frame of any blinds in the windows.

I prefer sheers to be on a second, inner rod so the sheers could stay closed while the drapes are open, letting in plenty of light but providing a small degree of privacy, at least during the day, with the blinds being dropped to provide privacy after dark.

I also prefer the old fashioned flat white "[" shaped rods that fit, hidden, within a rod pocket of the curtains or drapes with a single bracket holding two rods, one with a longer side piece than the other. WalMart and some of the other big box and chain stores carry these or something similar:

For a small room that already has lots going on, solid drapes that are the same color as the walls will calm your room. Your rods are a good height but curtains should be long, to the floor.

All the clutter is distracting. It competes with the gallery wall.

Gallery members are too close to the TV. Put 2 inches between the TV and the pics surrounding it. As you work on the gallery, add some larger pieces.

Even in a small room a big plant near the window will help pull the room together.

Are you seeking to change the room from the current cottage look to the room you described in your title ("glam, chic, industrial")? Which of the 3 directions do you want to pursue? Each of these styles has a completely distinctive look from one another.

Wall Color: While I can't speak to the colors you specifically listed, I think gray would look great. Ideally in something about the same darkness as the current wall color.

Furniture Layout: Your current layout looks great.

Coffee Table: I'd go with something glass, delicate and a little glam. It's a small space with several upholstered items and I think the current ottoman is too "heavy" visually.

I also think you need a lamp or two in the room. They add a lot of drama and style to a room.

I don't think you need anything between the refrigerator furniture-wise. You could do a taller cabinet, but I'd avoid anything that becomes a clutter collector.

I think you need more art on the other walls. Everything is currently concentrated in just the gallery wall.

Can you show us your lamps?

I like your gallery wall, too, but it's too cramped with the TV. It needs a bit of adjustment. The perfect images to fill those frames would be some graphic art digital downloads from etsy. Yes, spread out the gallery wall. Move the clock over the fridge then move up the floral art piece on the right. To make it the art work really yours, start looking for prints and photos online at Etsy or art.com and frame things you like. As others have said, all the other small pieces distract from the gallery wall. Go bolder with a rug to anchor the space and complementary curtains that hang straight or just plain linen curtains that match the wall color.
