Do you wear low cut swim wear up top?
Comments (28)Thank you. :) You're probably right eld. I overthink things sometimes. I always have to remind myself to just stop planning and do at some point. I bought a colourful coverup yesterday and will look for a high necked sleeveless swim top to go under my tankini. Hopefully I won't have your problem daisychain, with riding up, as mine isn't tightly fitted. We have confronted BIL at various times and the usual remorse and empty promises occur. Hopeless cause I'm afraid. It would be nice if no alcohol were in the summer mix, but that isn't fair to all those who can handle it. I will try the deadpan stare and walk away though, thanks for that suggestion! He might not see it through his alcohol haze and probably will still think he's hilarious. He's pretty thickheaded. People used to laugh with him, which I found astonishing, but not so much anymore....See MoreWhat's flowering for you December 2018 - January 2019
Comments (92)A sole pink TC bloom I've been waiting and waiting for this echeveria to bloom for a few weeks, apparently it's making a larger bloom stalk... Ohh alright... I'll be patient. ;-) Steve, wow! Nice work on those sweet potatoes! One of my favorite vegetables. I love its foliage too. Mike also, check this video out, ha I could do something like this but with a non toxic plant (because of the cats) lol (can skip along to 2:30 to see the foliage) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUp2-DqEfOE Mike, what a mesmerizing sunrise and the landscape, wow!!! Great pic love it. ❤ Mother jade so pretty too wearing her flowers. Shavedmonkey, those orchids are really beautiful! What is the scent? (if there is one) Dave, I adore your Orchid! Gorgeous! Nancy, I LOVE your plumeria, I am envious! KC, Ohh my, ohh my, that Jade!!!!!! ❤ -Nancy...See MoreSunglasses -- what are you wearing?!
Comments (33)Thanks all.. I wish I could make cheap sunglasses work. Even sunglasses in a mid price range. Unfortunately, I need prescription lenses-- that with the $400 frames puts my sunglasses in the 1k range. I guess all the more reason to be sure I love them. What I really liked about the Stella sunglasses is the shape on my face and the way they fit. (I have a big nose but a narrow bridge and not all glasses sit well. These feel secure because they are held by the side of the nose.) I am less in love with the chain on the side but I do like the bit of bling and interest Walnutcreek, I think your Versace have a similar shape and I really like them. I may give them a try also. Lars-- I like your Versace glasses too! How fun are they? I think I will keep looking-- but I am definitely embracing the thought of sunglasses that make a bit more of a statement! Cropped most of my face out because it was a beast of a day and my skin and hair look terrible!...See Morewhat kind of mask do you wear?
Comments (52)OutsidePlaying I usually wear the disposable masks. I have a partial box in the car in a zip lock bag along with some disposable gloves. We also have a few N95’s and I have some very good fabric masks that fit me well with adjustable ear pieces I ordered from The Sak (yes, the handbag company). They had sent me a free one, and I liked it so much I ordered more and gave a couple to my DD. My face is narrow and my head is small so it is nice to find something that fits my nose bridge well without nearly covering my eyes, even after adjusting the metal band. I always have to adjust the ear pieces by tying another knot but these have an adjustable slide on the ear piece. ~~~~ Hi OutsidePlaying -- I looked up The Sak masks -- and the care instructions say, "Machine wash, gentle cycle, cold water." (!!!) I don't get it. Here I am checking the water temperature for my mask washing -- it's supposed to be HOT -- and they are telling you to wash in cold water! What's the point of that? I've washed my own masks 100 and more times in very hot water and they are still fine....See More- 5 years ago
