New Eden rose brown petals

I just planted my Eden rose 6-8 weeks ago and I wasn’t expecting flowers at all. Last week I was surprised to find buds, and yesterday I noticed one was open, but the outer petals have brown edges. I would like to identify what it is so I can learn from it. Is this just from the stress of planting or something I should treat? It did take my kids a little time to learn how much water to give it when we were working out summer chores (the sprinklers don’t reach it) so there were times the soil was a little dry for too long, but not enough that the plant ever looked wilted or dry. I’m attaching pictures but the first is misleading because the brown seems to be disappearing in the picture - in reality it looks a lot more like the second picture.

On a positive note, I just can’t believe how quickly it is growing! And the foliage is really pretty. I have a new Aloha as well and it looks the same as it did when I planted it, and it has much more sun.
