Thanks Lukki! *just typing through my thinking process...* Well, turns out Heritage Red is a discontinued BM ext. color. The only way I can get a 'sample' would be to order it in a quart, but that wouldn't make sense really because I don't want it in exterior paint. They could mix it in a quart of their brand of paint and they're wonderful at matching so I'm confident they could make it work. I'm not sure I want to use their paint and do I really want to spend $20 on a quart that I may not even like? However if I glaze, which I'm leaning towards, the color would deepen a bit and I'd have to put a protective coating on top anyhow (I'd use poly) so I don't know if the paint quality matters as much. Their brand is good and I've used it before but I wanted to use something considered 'best' for the dresser. He suggested an BM Affinity sample they have in the color Caliente. He mentioned it's not as bright and looking at the photo I found online, he's right. I looked at Colorcharts for other paint matches to Heritage and RL has one that's close but I don't have access to their paints either. I want the Raspberry Truffle to work but I see a rosey color at certain times. Someone else that was all about the RT finally got to see that IRL. I think she thought I was making it up. Looking at the two fan decks I have (BM and SW) I'm not liking any of the other reds. I know there are other brands and paints in the world but I'm honestly not in the mood to make any bigger of a project out of finding the color red. Ha, I'll let you know what I decide!

Super cute! Babies are stimulated by high contrast, maybe paint the walls in the light blue from the print and the yellow? For the dresser I have two recommendations: 1) SECURE IT TO THE WALL. We have the same dresser. We took the back off and fixed the dresser to the wall with an L-bracket. 2) Babies love to look at themselves. Instead of artwork, why not a mirror over the dresser? You can super secure it with mirror clips and baby can look at herself during changes. I like gliders because they are super comfortable, but... four more recommendations! 1) Put a small table near the glider/rocker so that Mom has a place to put stuff. 2) She needs a footstool. My glider came with one. 3) SLIPCOVERS. My glider got filthy. I vowed that next time I would get two sets of washable slipcovers. 4) Dutalier. My behind felt the difference between the Dutalier and the other brand in our house! Can't wait to see baby pix!

Pure Performance egg is my favorite. It's not shiny but it has slip. However, darker colors do show up a smidge shinier. Which is normal because that's what colorant does but it's still not too shiny. SW's Cashmere lo lustre is my second favorite. Not as much slip as PP but I still find it pretty durable to clean. It also touches up nicely with a dampened then dipped sponge brush. Multiple thin coats, never a fat coat. Close second/third is Aura matte. If all else fails, you can touch it up. Again dampened then dipped sponge brush works best. Multiple thin coats, never a fat coat.

Your options over the dresser are unlimited. Will there be a changing table pad set on the dresser? You could hang a baby quilt. Or a baby mobile. Or a picture - a BIG picture. (The one you have over the crib is just marginally big enough.) Hundreds of ideas on etsy.
