It's a striking scene, phoggie, but I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that isn't the result of an amateur's simple button push on a phone or camera. It looks highly "processed". Am I right?

You never contribute anything to the show me yours. Who cares where the photo came from or what was done to it. It was beautiful. Are you a photography expert?

No. My comment was a reaction and a respectful question. Are you the forum sheriff?

No Elmer...I did not take this one myself. My niece who is a professional photographer took it and sent it to me. Kansas has so much beauty and our wheat fields are just among the many.

i do not know why you chose me to call out about this because I am sure others have posted pics that they were not responsible for taking on their personal phone.

I have asked others in the past about what technique they used for a picture that I liked. Hope I didn't offend anyone. I assumed people posted their own pictures unless stated otherwise.

phoggie, my question was about the image and nothing else. It wasn't about you in any way and for all I knew it was you who had taken it and did the digital effects enhancements that seemed pretty obvious to have been done.

There are no "rules" as such to this thread, but, the presumption is that you post pictures you've taken, not someone else or something off the net....that's the "show me yours" part. If you do post a pic that isn't yours, it'd be nice if it was identified as such, to let us know and to give credit to the photographer.

Yes, annie, the expectations you describe were what I thought. My comment had nothing to do with that, though, just a reaction to an image that didn't seem to be an unaltered personal snapshot.
