Chinacat, you are so sweet to still be thinking of this. Believe it or not, part of the problem I think is that she CANT feel it. She had a severe facial nerve pain problem earlier in her life and back then the only way to get relief was to severe the facial nerve on one side.....so she has no feeling on one side of her face. So, it is an open wound that she keeps picking at and it bleeds and looks so sore to everyone else, but she feels no pain, so continues to pick. The dr. started her on a very mild dose of zyprexa. It caused problems during the day...and it actually caused a fall and trip to the emergency room so they only give it at night. I read up and the side effects are scary and I don't like more and more drugs.......but they say she is a little more mellow and doesn't fight the bandaids etc. She seems to be picking a little less so we will see how it goes. One thing she can do is roll up a ball of yarn so she does that here at my house...but they don't give her the yarn where she lives I dont' think. They have a tendancy to sit them in front of the TV if there are no activities...which in my opinion is the worst. But, this home is way nicer than any other around so I try to be agreeable and appreciative.

The first thing I am going to suggest is wean your self off that awful aol you do not need it and will feel so free once you unburden your self from it. Especially with a nice new macbook to play with. You have a nice new mac and are loading it with aol which is from the time of dinosaurs in computer time. everything you do using aol you can do usually easier with out aol. are you certain you downloaded the appropriate version of aol for use with your mac? there are different versions. AOL Desktop this is a really old article I found but it shows a lot of the hookup info some may still apply, I don't know I would not put aol on anything I own. AOL in Mac you may want to try some of the dedicated mac forums online you can find some doing a google search.

Cyn, That is the way I had it arranged prior to this set-up. I really liked it, except for the fact that it was akward to always have to sit sideways to watch the TV, or sit in the chair apart from DH, KWIM? Plus, the TV was lost on the huge blank wall. Thanks for the compliments on the baby pics. Good idea to save the chair for grandbabies. I'm a person who gets rid of everything, but i like the idea of saving the chair & ottoman. So my 4 year old and I rearranged this morning, and I like it! The only tricky part will be running the cable over the fireplace somehow, but I'll let DH worry about that. (Why can't somebody invent wireless cable/satellite? It would solve so many decorating problems! LOL). What do we think? Better, right? Ad Lissa, you were totally correct about the fireplace wall being a different color. I was cleaning the walls today and noticed the difference at the corner. I can't believe I've never noticed that before. It is just a shade darker. So what to do with the fireplace? And this huge blank wall behind the couch? And the train table will be brought down to the basement when DH gets home, promise! Do you think I should seek out a square ottoman/coffee table type thing? What about an area rug? New seating area. Home Interiors & Jodie White, Sorry guys. I'm new to this. Obviously, i need to create an Ideabook! I tend to go more towards muted brown, red, yellow/gold, rust colors (in past), but open to other somewhat neutral palettes. I actually love the console, but was considering an antique cream color (if I could make that work?). My tastes tend to be traditional, rustic, a little farmhouse (pottery barn, restoration hardware, ballard designs) but with so many current needs, all those in a TIGHT budget! Aktillery9, i do like all of those looks. My husband did just tell me, due to wiring, there is chance we may not be able to mount on flat wall as i hoped, so i may be forced to go back to corner console again. :( When I get a chance, I'll post some of my fav looks.
