In my opinion it does look like it could be edema, but it doesn't look too bad, you can care for it well from here out & it will eventually grow out of it.

From your pictures and descriptions here's what I would recommend you do:

1) If that drainage hole is fake you've got to consider getting a different pot with a real one. Can you return, exchange, or get a new one? You will need to repot this and when you do, step 3 will be very important.

2) I can't see the whole pot but make sure it isn't too big for the plants you have in there. You don't want a whole lot of excess space in the soil where the roots are, it stays wet too long.

3) Buy a small bag of perlite and mix with your potting soil so that you have about 60% perlite to soil. Your soil looks dense and it will retain too much water and the perlite helps that a LOT.

4) You mentioned you repotted this plant after you bought it - were you able to carefully remove the old soil from the roots? If not, the original soil is most likely extremely water retentive and should be carefully freed from the roots so they will benefit from your new perlite-enhanced soil mix. After you repot, don't water for at least 5 days.

5) You'll need to slowly acclimate this plant to more sun. The way the leaves are spread out indicates it needs a higher light level than what it has been receiving. Do this slowly or your plant will burn.

This is just my advice but I'm sure others will have some more tips for you as well. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Alright, I have some bad news. Unfortunately, judging by the pictures I took of it right after I bought it, the plant already had Edema to begin with. I probably worsened it by watering it when I took it home because I wasn't sure what it looked like until about a week ago. Also, it seems the plant was in worse condition than I thought because I checked and noticed that the leaves were getting a soggy texture. I was worried when it wasn't getting better even days after I replanted it in some Bonsai Jack soil ( I loosened the roots free of its old soil as best as I could). I then figured I might as well try to propagate it while it still had some healthy leaves left to give it a better chance of surviving. So I've picked off the soggy leaves and a few healthy ones and I have them all spread out on a paper towel so they can dry a bit. I also have some sick leaves there just to experiment a bit and see if I can get a sprout out of those (I really doubt it would work but why not try?).

All that's left to do now is wait, I guess. I'll update when something new happens :)
