Hello! We are in the midst of a kitchen remodel. So far, we have taken down the wall between the kitchen and living room, scraped and painted the ceilings, and the cabinets are going in now. Would love to get some thoughts on what to do about lighting over our new island. So far, we have four cans in the kitchen, and we are planning a sconce over the sink. Was planning to do 2 pendants over island, but not sure how that will look since the island is not centered in the room or between the room dividers. Stick with two pendants? Go with three? Go with more cans? If pendants, any recs?

Note: Cans are just hanging down because of painting recently.
