Seniorgal, I just looked again using Firefox. If you are at the forum Kitchen Table, and want to begin a newly initiated thread, at least with my Win7 pc,

I would type the subject line, followed by my dialog or questions in the blank box. My next step would be click Next. That takes me to Choose Topics (which seems to really mean forum topics or other forums).

Counting down three lines from the words Choose Topic it shows the default forum you are posting to, in this case Kitchen Table. The box is slightly greyed. It has an X that I assume you could click to eliminate that choice and move down to other forums where you would like your post to show.

Of course Kitchen Table is where you meant to be so you won't X out that default, you'll leave it as is, and not choose from the list at all, leave them all unmarked. Final step is Post. I hope I made that clear, I do not have your command of words ;0)

Seniorgal, some people experience their posts seemingly disappearing but then they might actually post. Is that what's happening?

My Google advanced search shows only 20 new posts in the last 24 hours. It typically shows 90 or so. There must be something going awry.

I saw your post this morning, and now I can't find it--was going to comment. I am so sorry you're getting this kind of "welcome back" from Houzz. I only post 3 or 4 photos at a time, and I try to not have any text with the photos. If I get the dratted window telling me something went wrong, I ignore it. Then back click to the roses threads, then forward back onto the thread I was posting on. My photos always magically are there, in spite of their ridiculous "something went wrong window". It's crazy. Try this is you haven't already. Good luck. Diane

I'm still seeing it, but I'm finding Houzz super buggy right now. I'm not getting 75% of the notifications for my posts, and some comments seem to be popping in and out of existence. https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/5835783/kitchen-design-help-wanted#n=0

Tidewater Elf is one of the most robust daylilies in the garden. Zombie Dust's pattern is not showing today. This is its first year to bloom so I don't know if it ever shows much pattern. The color is lighter than it is described in the database. I have to post Empire of Dawn and Dusk today. I have posted this in previous years. It is a future registration hopefully. The bud count and branching have improved dramatically this year. Bud counts are as high on some scapes as 30. It also show instant rebloom. The color is a little pinkish today. The seedling Queen is Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy. I posted her sibling the other day. It is a softer color and more rounded in shape. The seedling Princess is Daddy's Heart X Spacecoast Perfect Angel. We hope this is a future introduction. It is a small flowered tet. It has a metallic gold edge. It started out slow this spring but has been growing well now. I hope this post doesn't disappear. Nancy

yeo, that's so odd.....I've read that others are seeing different screen names for some people, but I don't. Seniorgal has remained the same for me.

iSeniorgal, I'm sooooo glad you decided to give it a try. Your post is here in Kitchen Table, right where it should be. Also, I'm not experiencing the problem of seeing a different user name. You're Seniorgal, just like always.
