Where I live now, in Aberdeen, we gravelled the whole backyard due to having multiple horses in the house. LOL..my great danes make a terrible miss on grass so it was the only way. And mud? As in garden? Would be destroyed unless I built a fence around it. We are planning to buy a house soon, so hope to change all that. I can not wait to get into roses outdoors and perenials, grow my own veggies. Lily's too! I hope he builds me a greenhouse, as I am a die hard fan of tropicals. Plumeria and hibiscus are my fave's. Been growing them indoors for a year under lights, and lots of blooms. I also enjoy propagating and starting from seed indoors. Fun stuff! Your welcome Kyle. After digging them up, they were kinda bareroot on the roots ends. Especially the Fusi, so small just one leader. Kyle, you likely know, but, I am being sure to remind you to put the potted up trees in an unheated garage or other sheltered place this winter.

Those options are only available when you have typed a reply and before you hit the submit button they are right below where you type in the comment box and includes bold, Italics line option, photo, Houzz photo video, link then the green submit button and way down below that in tiny print it say click to switch off notifications about new comments that is viewable on every post not just on threads you started It's likely not as used here at houzz because they are not as easy to get pictures posted here. But once a screen shot is saved to your hard drive you can just click on the photo option I mentioned and browse to where you stored it on the computer and select it. I like to use the same method for getting a screen shot but instead of putting it in paint or a photo program I just open a new email, address to myself and in the body right click and paste and the picture will appear. Once I mailed it to myself I have access to it from all of my devices from my email then I just save it to the device to use as needed.

How many years does it take to help one understand that one can disagree without being disagreeable? Does it help if one has built a measure of self respect, of being comfortable in one's own skin? Living in a rural area 6 mi. from a village and about a dozen and more from a city and living with no vehicle for almost two years, I've done some hitchhiking and have been surprised that more than half of the kind folk who give me a ride are female. It seems to me that a fairly major percentage of the female population feel more self-assurance than we may have assumed. In an interesting discussion with folks of mixed gender during one such trip a few days ago, female driver, in speaking of such self-reliance, when I said that it seems to me that a female must feel rather comfortable in her own skin to be willing to stop to offer a ride to some old fart like me asking for a ride on the side of the road, my companions agreed. Some interesting and friendly discussions have taken place, a number have wanted to shake hands on parting and some have offered phone numbers to keep in touch or maybe offer rides later. Many have gone further, or out of their way, to bring me home, especially when I have bags of groceries. On a number of occasions when I've offered a modest sum, many have refused, and when I've said that it's just a small part of my savings in not owning a car, if they still refuse, when I suggest that they give it to charity, some agree. Recently rather middle aged more or less neighbour offered to call me a cab to take me home later, and when I said that it wasn't necessary, offered to pay for it, and I thanked him but said I'd be fine. A couple of days later, a young man made the same offer, which surprised me, and I thanked him and said that it wasn't necessary. l think that both may have been just after I'd spent a week in hosp. recently.
