Photo OP of 'M'
Comments (11)Neal, Congratulations on the two Lawnboy's. One more note on your particular M-series, it has the newer style Fuel Tank assembly. I'm not sure if yours was part of the intial recall, or built late enough to just have the updated tank from the beginning, but the metal fuel shutoff valve indicates the newer tank. The original M-series tanks had a plastic fuel shutoff valve, and were recalled due to potential fuel leaks. I had my tank replaced under warranty and it was replaced with the style that is on your mower. I have read notes from M users that still had the original Tanks that had experienced cracks and leaks. So, be thankful that you have the updated tank. Your M looks to be in pretty good condition overall. I use my M every week (and have since it was purchased in June of 1992)....See MoreA summer photo op
Comments (11)That's a neat picture. There seems to be a narrow opening behind the flower; wonder if a squirrel or bird dropped a sunflower seed in there and it sprouted? I hate to keep pulling the sunflower seedlings which the birds drop, but they always grow in inappropriate places. Lilo, your garden sounds colorful, maybe not tended as you would like, but still blooming. On the side of my front walkway there are portulaca blooming their little hearts out,--and I planted nary a one. They evidently reseeded themselves from some plants of two years ago. Now, that's my kind of flower. :>)...See MoreFrog photo op

Comments (10)What a lovely compliment though! Congrats! Sadly, I'm sure some of the people who stop and admire them also pick them. "Oh she won't miss just one!" Non-gardeners don't realize we wait and wait for our plants to bloom. When I lived in Baltimore I had someone cut ALL of my tulips - dozens of them. It all happened one night. When I left the house to go to work and saw what had happened I was devastated. There was a little note on the door that just said "Thank you!". I'm certain they had no idea they only bloomed once a year....See Moresocks
