So far I seem to have more luck growing roses from seed than from cuttings...... wish I could do both, but here is my 2nd rose.

He seems to nod over, so I tipped him up so you can see him better.

He has a really nice scent, not as strong as my pink one that I grew from seed. It is hard to describe his scent as I have no other rose that has the same scent, but it reminds me of the ones my father use to grow, and maybe like a rose perfume. It is not really strong, but one that smells good when you get close and you want to bury your nose in him. He is a nice fire engine red, with yellow stamens. I did not get to see him open, so I don't know if he opened full right away like this, or if he opened full because it is so hot and humid. I have two more that haven't bloomed yet.... so excited, and just wanted to share.
