Hello! Anyone have republic floors in their home, specifically the eastern cottonwood from the countryside collection? I’m looking for some vinyl flooring for my house (all 3 floors) and after a looong search, stumbled upon Republic Floors. From what I can tell online, I love the look of the sessile oak, but I live in Canada and they don’t supply that colour over here :(. They do have eastern cottonwood though, which I have a sample of, but I’d like to see a whole floor with it to see how it would look all laid out. Thanks in advance!

Cher Brewer, I agree it is similar to Cairo oak except it’s a little less orange which I prefer. Coretec cairo oak was just a little too orangey toned for my liking, so post oak might be perfect?! I’m taking samples of it home now. :) Are you still happy with your flooring? Is it easy to clean, and has it held up good? Does it scratch easily?

I have the Pure SPC, not the max. Aspen color. The floor is pretty true to how it looks online. Our store did have the company sample board so we were able to see it in our light and how well it worked with the existing tile. We've been happy with the floor so far (6 months). It's just the two of us. no kids or pets, but I wouldn't say we've babied it. Ours has a little bit of texture and a slight bevel, again, no issues.
