Curtain rod replacement help needed
Comments (3)My window span is 140 inches and the rods I ordered came with 4 brackets also, but I only used 3 and it's fine. No bending at all, and I have fairly heavy drapes hanging up. We open and close those drapes a few times each day too. The only issue I had was that the bracket started pulling away from the wall so I had to use longer screws. ....See Moreneed help deciding glass replacement vs unit replacement
Comments (3)Call around and see what's available in your area. Call Milgard and see what they charge and what their warranty is. This project is all relative to availability , quality and pricepoint. Do the research on the options you have and make a choice. A landscaper broke one of my MIL's Andersen casement windows. He had a local glass guy come in and repair it. It's been in for 9 years with no problems. Ron...See MoreNeed to replace our 36" duel fuel slide in range, need HELP!
Comments (2)You may want to look at the Thermador. I have seen many positive reviews here (Google Gardenweb Houzz and whichever appliance you want to see reports on from users here.) I would stay away from Wolf due to the blue enamel problem. Personally, I would go for Bluestar, but that is not DF. Good luck with your project....See MoreHelp! Need Help with White Curtains!
Comments (5)in the kitchen the bulbs should be 4000K,,,nothing less than 3500. I happen to like all of my bulbs like that except a few table lamps. to be honest, the curtains are too short. even if you get the right rod and place it where it's supposed to go, the curtains will be too short. you have a nice dining area so I think you could jazz it up a bit. you don't have to spend a lot either. BTW, are those mini blinds staying?? could you just remove the blinds on the small kitchen window? I think you have too many. for the dining room, I'd go w/a nice roman shade. But if you want the white, try something like these and you'll want to hang the rod about 4-6" above your window. the bottoms should 'kiss' the floor this is the look you're after. try the woven wood blinds instead of the white minis. have you considered maybe doing some woven woods and then a white panel w/a subtle design? notice the rod height above the door frame, and how the bottoms kiss the floor. I love these types of window blinds instead of the mini blinds. look into silhouettes or pirouette or even zebra inset blinds...See MoreBrendan Keyport
