bathroom update on a small budget
Comments (16)Also for those who ask the color of the walls are Sherwin Williams Ancient Marble and the cabinets are SW Svelte Sage. Jersey.. I think it will all depend on the baskets that I find whether I will like it or not. I found some tonight that I like, but won't know how it will all work together or not unti were done painting and get everything back in the room. I'll let you know and I'll post photos when complete....See MoreSmall bathroom, small budget, big irritation, big plea for help
Comments (55)I think we're going to have to have an electrician come in and rewire the house or something. The bathroom, the two fan lights in the kitchen, and the lights in the main room in the basement go out all the time. Doesn't matter what kind of bulbs we put in there, they burn out. Yet the light over the sink is on pretty much 24/7 and it's been replaced like once in 16 years. For the last long while, we quit buying the "good" bulbs b/c if we get three months out of them, that's a good length of time for us, but the cost is outlandish to replace that often for bulbs that rarely are used. The cabinet door goes to shelving in the hall. If we didn't have the shelving, we'd lose quite a bit of storage, so we can't take the shelves out to put a hamper in there....See MoreSmall bathroom remodel. Walls and tub advice please.
Comments (11)The best I can figure is the Dumawall is an interlocking panel system. The panels may be waterproof but there still is a joint. Porcelain tile is waterproof as well. Its the joints and the installation where things fail. I would suggest you get a sample of that stuff before ordering it.. I would think it is going to be a cheap plastic. You might as well get a nice acrylic set of walls before doing that. Do some more homework before you decide...and do what's best for you... Good luck!...See MoreAdvice on Tile for Small Narrow Bathroom
