2nd floor laundry room inexpesnsive flooring ideas
Comments (5)I would go with the lino. The stone curb under the W/D is good if the leak happens close to the machine, but I worried about a leak/flood where the hose hook ups are or even out the door of the Washer. We put a drain directly under the Washer. The floor gradually slopes (you can notice it) towards the drain. Then it's sealed around the baseboards. With the vinyl flooring it will help (hopefully) in case of a leak....See MoreMy 1984 modular home has a bad floor. Creative cheap floor ideas?
Comments (3)Someone has to go under the house and determine what the exact problem is and then determine the best cost-effective way to fix it. No shortcuts for this problem because the problem may not be what you suspect. I realize you have a modular home, but this could be the same problem. Sagging mobile home floors: are usually a result of water damage in mobile homes with particle board flooring that doesn't hold up well when it gets wet. Moisture Barriers Stop moisture from developing directly on the mobile home floor boards and will not allow the floors to rot. https://www.hunker.com/13402356/how-to-level-sagging-mobile-home-floors https://floridaanchorandbarrier.com/re-level-mobile-home-floors/...See MorePatching hardwood flooring ideas
Comments (2)Take a look at these samples of Brazilian Cherry peel and stick flooring. I bet you might see the color of your floor. Use that and a rug, it might look original. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-e&q=brazilian+cherry+peel+and+stick+tiles&tbm=isch&source=univ&fir=RF5M1-9UhldgiM%252CL__SUjoUM-j1UM%252C_%253Bemt-llordVMqhM%252CwS4bgq_yJCZQeM%252C_%253BYX3FvHJtv-toRM%252C9oZHIiYiPraoMM%252C_%253BwU7aFHEp6aiC2M%252CDPFRIIVLyfQQbM%252C_%253BOfr0FTeYEzboQM%252C8CUeq58W0cmhUM%252C_%253BpqbDLzUPxQqUjM%252CZQMtvO5wOrSdeM%252C_%253BQk_TO2xxbFeQUM%252C_LWIbJweoQZIwM%252C_%253BnrsooBrW5rFLfM%252C6ieWMZLLn4lwVM%252C_%253B0-c-AD9nRZWWFM%252CtsBpoYBZdqconM%252C_%253BDvyznIeifCBH4M%252CozcsdcKd82K_vM%252C_&usg=AI4_-kQD2Y8LFZpyr2g6yyvJrV8IZ6k0BQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjS79TUy76AAxVNkokEHXEnDJcQ7Al6BAhHEBM&biw=1280&bih=639&dpr=2...See Morekitchen floor ideas
Comments (3)...[how integrated vs closed off is the kitchen?]... cab and floor tones are similar / but note the grain is different between the two woods......I would go to another look.....as slate or tile look of some sort. How many sq feet and what is the budget because there is a lot of wonderful product out there...you pay for labour and materials [ if not DIY] so nail down your cost window and bring in samples. Countertop that exists might be a factor.....what is there? and what do you like? in a way this is neutral because it takes floor mats and small runners w its rather subdued tones and I bet its not as dark as you may think...i like it ..it has some presence but dont think its all that bold.......when you get to the kitchen it depends on the counters.....? soapstone or darker granite or light corian ?? ...you havent shown counter.........See Morebrandi_presti79
