Before we sold our last home, I had a really excellent painter come in and paint the bedrooms, a few walls of our great room, our home office, and the entryway in Dover White by Sherwin Williams. He loved it and actually used it on a few subsequent projects. We also loved it. My kitchen and dining area were in a color called "green plum passion" by valspar, and the Dover White complemented this color as well. I think it would look great with a satin white trim and a bright white ceiling. We had similar color tile to what you have on your kitchen floor, which went well with the Dover White. A friend recently painted her condo (which is an interior unit and doesn't get a ton of light) in Sherwin Willams 9109 Natural Linen. She says when she buys/builds her next house she'll use it everywhere... Hope these thoughts are helpful.

I'm assuming that the cabinets are custom if your color choice is vast. That's good because you may want to change the color in the future. I'm only half joking. If this is your primary home, and you're never going to do your kitchen again, stick with something that will stand the test of time. If you're looking for something trendy in your new kitchen, put that on the walls, window treatments, or hardware - things that can easily be updated. I have ripped out many "trendy" Pickled Oak cabinets and a lot of recent glass backsplashes that already look dated. There is nothing wrong with also doing the island in white as well. Maybe you could change the door style or add some fabric-covered stools in a fun fabric in a blue that you love! My approach is a second/vacation home is different than a primary home. I assume this is not the case. Good luck!

I feel your pain! I got the Accessible beige sample and almost don't want to try it just go for it. Colors are so weird and can make you feel crazy! At least me:) We have divine white cabs and I feel they change from warm to cool. My husband has his office cabinets painted DW too and they look totally different from our home (actually I think better and his counters are slightly more cool). This is DW next to Nomadic Desert. Have you ever thought of hiring a color expert like Kylie? Maybe for such a large space would be good to get a 2nd set of eyes? Or just go for one and hope for the best. I know I have stressed too much about it:) And no one needs to do that.

Photos? the kitchen/dining colors don't sound like they match your LR furniture. UNLESS, the sofas are all ivory and you can replace the accessory colors. OR, alternatively, paint the kitchen wall a blue or green or soft white (which may be easier in the long run!).
