Floof: My new,odd habit.....and yours????
Comments (51)Glad to read I'm not the only oddball out there! Very interesting to read about all of our various quirks. littlebug, I never, ever leave my car windows down because of the remote chance a wasp might get inside. I could just see me driving over a cliff because a stinging insect was buzzing around in the car. I once stripped down to my undies in a parking lot because I felt something crawling up my leg while driving. It turned out to be a bee that had somehow got under my pants leg - still makes me shudder to think about it!...See MoreFloof! Seasonal Treats

Comments (15)My son texted me this morning and I was pretty shocked he even thought about it or knew the day. lol My daughter texted me later and offered to make me food tomorrow but she works later in the evening and so I suggested we go see a movie, on me. No movies playing that early in the day, probably because of Covid. The theaters are opening but only for a few hours in the late afternoon/evening. So we are having lunch before she goes to work. She said she felt bad that she couldn't "take me out on the town" but I told her I just wanted her company. I'm not big into all the commercialized holiday stuff anyway....See MoreFloof! Songs: had to go back and look at Spotify, listened in the car on the way to nursery to pick up some ground cover plants: Beautiful Sunday by Daniel Boone, Annie's Song by John Denver, Put Your Records on by Corinne Bailey Rae, Love Grows by Edison Lighthouse and I'll Play for You by Seals and Croft. 2. Movie: Oppenheimer Was going to be Barbie but my daughter and I decided to postpone watching it until this coming week. 3. Last thing eaten: A ham and havarti cheese sandwich with garden cucumbers and dill, with Miracle Whip and a little sprinkling of Sundried Tomato salad dressing, and Lightly salted Lay's potato chips. 4. Message: from my doctor's office telling me I have test results available. I already got my lab work so I'm assuming it's the foot x-ray. I haven't read it yet. The foot is hurting pretty good right now. 5. Exercise: Just planted two pots of ground cover, which were super root bound so I divided them into 6 separate plants each, which means I had to plant twelve plants. Oh, and the one beautiful peach colored Delphinium, I totally didn't need but had to get. Still have four more pots of probably root bound ground covers to plant tomorrow. 6. Online purchase: curtains for my French door in the dining/kitchen area and lightweight hiking boots. 7. Last book: "One Hit Wonder" by Lisa Jewell. 8. n/a 9. Last store: Lowes, to pick up some manure and potting soil. I just read the second to the last person's list and well, I forgot I went to Walgreens after Lowes. To get some Vitamin D3. All the vitamins I saw there seem to have at least doubled in price. I got the Walgreens brand in the smallest size. 10. Last drink: Iced coffee...See More- 8 years agolast modified: 8 years ago
