Can this pedestal base work with a 36" marble round?

I have a 36", 1" thick marble round weighing approx 95 lbs. I am considering purchasing this base on CL for the marble (see link below)

If you can't see the link, it's a Victorian style cast iron tripod base. The diameter of the legs is 18" and the square plate at the top is 9.75" across. I like the tripod base because I plan to put 3 bistro chairs around the table, and prefer not to fiddle with staggering chairs around 4 legs.

My questions are:

Is my marble round too big for this base? Will the table be prone to tipping? I plan to roll out dough on this table, in addition to using it for casual dining.

If I can use the marble with the base, how do you recommend attaching? Should I glue plywood underneath the marble? Or take the marble to a stone fabricator to drill holes?https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/for/d/beautiful-heavy-duty-vintage/6584600023.html
