Help with exterior paint color and trim

We recently purchased this house and would like to update the paint and trim. The storm door will be changed to match whatever paint we choose. The current color is a grayish green. I’d love to go with a light or medium gray with white trim but am not sure if that would match the roof color. The house on one side is a dark gray with a lot of blue undertones and the house on the other side is a light gray with green undertones. We live in a coastal community in New England, so all of the houses on the street are pretty traditional colors. Thanks!

Comments (0)We plan to paint the exterior siding, trim, and garage door of our house soon and need help choosing a color scheme that works well with our brick and new black windows. I am open to painting or staining the brick to create a uniform look, but my husband is a hard no on touching the brick at all. As you can see, we're growing ivy on most of the front brick anyway. Comments (5)I would think of installing a gutter system, even if you area doesn't get much rain. There is not much of an overhang to get the water away from the foundation. I would go for either a dark brown or an almond (off white) color. I would paint the fascia the same color. Here is a mock-up with your new roof and a line of off white and a line of dark brown for comparison. I would paint the fence the same color or a green like Liberty Park. I would trim the bush at the side. Maybe even move it out into the yard, since it is tall. I think a rose bush on a colorful trellis would look good between the windows.
