Bye-bye Roomba Girl, she went back
Comments (3)Try Neato, which comes with strips, you cut. Keeps them from going where you don't want them to go as well as rooms that don't need cleaning. Love my Neato!...See MoreBye bye Charlie! Need a replacement though!!!!
Comments (2)Maybe Beverly if you are wanting a pink. She did well here for me last year as a first year plant. You can send Charlie my way lol - had him on order last year, but the vendor was unable to ship when spring rolled around....See MoreBye Bye Oak! What to use instead of the arched doors? Grainless/glass?
Comments (10)you have very warm countertop and backsplash. uppers painted in color of the trim will get too stark looking next to them. you'll need much softer warmer color..more like a warm cream realm minimum. Your next choice of color should be dictated to a bigger degree by "permanent" material that for sure stay..so play with some samples first to make sure your updated kitchen will make you happy. Trim is trim; your concern is with your stone and tile since they're integral part of your kitchen unless you change everything. Floors are too but your floors are wood-usually great background to everything. btw I like it..nice space, warm and cozy If painting-I'd choose color for the inside of course, either matching or contrasting a bit, depending on what feel I'm after (and how much money I've got..and how tired of the project I am..)) I love glass uppers. I don't see much space to add many more in your kitchen, except for the one door cabinet right next to the window clear or frosted-depends on your personal habits. I love clear since I know myself-all will be in order. But I know my family too..that's why I have only one cabinet with glass..lol If you dislike the grain (which I can understand..I also dislike some grains)-maybe allover refacing makes sence? I heard it's pretty expensive though agree about fridge..not that you asked about it..sorry in advance:)...See MoreBye-Bye Figs and Pomegranates, again
Comments (15)I am in Chesapeake - near the coast in southeastern VA. Brutal winter this year. A good 8" of snow last week and temps in the 20's and below. I have two well-established pomegranate 'trees' in my front landscape. Both have fruited for the past few years - and I've seen others in the area that also seem to do very well. I'm just praying that this cold weather doesn't get to them. My varieties are 'Wonderful' and I believe that the second and more successful of the two is either 'Grenada' (but might possibly be Angel Red or Red Silk) It appears to have been mislabeled, which is a shame, because it is thriving and produces great fruit. This fall I received some new plants, which I will plant in the ground in Spring. Varieties are: Afganski / Salalvatski / Kai-Acik-Anor / Nikitski-Ranni / Golden Globe / Agat / Bala Miursal / Hotuni Zigar / Phoenicia / and Purple Heart Growing Pomegranates is a bit of a hobby for me. I love to eat them fresh! There are so many 'new' varieties available, to us, now . . . it's hard to resist trying to grown some of them! Does anyone else have any recommendations - successful varieties and where to find them?...See MoreMay Construction, Inc.
