I have a boysenberry and the feverfew on your list.Also "Bristol" blackberry plants-the berrys are about the size of quarters and make great pies etc. Check my list please. I am interested in the Dwarf cherry and the blue plum tree

Hi Everyone, It has now been two years since we bought our house. In between caring for our 18-month-old I am trying to establish a yard full of edibles. I would be very interested in a rooted cutting or established sapling from a fig tree (maybe a turkey fig ... something that doesn't get too big and that can survive in zone 7). I'm also interested in peach, plum and paw paw (I guess I would need two paw paw saplings). I've only just started to write up my "Haves" list, and I've also just ordered a ton of veggie and herb seeds, including a number of heirlooms. So please ask if there is something that you are looking for. The plants that I currently have to trade include June-bearing strawberries, a thinner clumping green bamboo that grows 14-15 feet tall and makes an excellent privacy fence (the shoots are also edible), English thyme, senna, and probably also cherry blossom tree saplings. Actually they aren't the landscaping flowering plum trees. I think the landscape company that did this commercial area THOUGHT they were planting flowering plum. DH and I went back today and 'harvested' a grocery bag full of these plums. The tree that I had initially taken fruit from was picked bare! I believe that tree is an actual Cherry Plum Tree. Those plums were exactly as those in the link I posted above with very tart yellow flesh. The tree next to it had plums the size of apricots -- dark reddish purple on the outside and red/burgundy flesh. The taste of this particular plum was very sweet with a tart aftertaste. DH was grumpy until he started to eat them and then he really began to pick! Tomorrow is jam/jelly making day. After I taste the jam -- DH and I might 'adopt' those trees and fertilize/spray them each year. We had a peach tree on the side of the interstate for 3 years -- we kept it in really good condition and harvested bushels of peaches -- then some unsavory folks began to live under the overpass -- we left the tree to them. Thanks for the quick response. If leaf-cutter bees, they sure went after one peach tree in particular. Bizarre-looking effect. I have fed these trees the same as my apples, cherries, etc. and those look OK, but with the fine sandy soil it's sometimes hard to compare even trees that are planted right next to each other. It's a little late to be feeding now, but I'll keep that in mind. As to the possible bacterial leaf spot, is there something you'd recommend for the home grower (other than "plant resistant varieties")? I used lime-sulfur on the peaches during the dormant season and copper on the plums/pluots. Maybe I need to make additional sprays during the growing season?
