Mirrors for small vanity sink

itsumademootaku

I have a small corner vanity sink for a small "L" shaped bathroom. I've never been happy with the cheap vanity mirrors, which are now well into their "black plague" phase of life. I feel like they are too small, even though they fit the convention I usually see of the mirror being about the same width or less as the vanity itself. The only lighting is from the ceiling pot light.

I think I would like to install wider, taller mirrors with built-in lighting (as shown in sketch) but am worried it would overwhelm this tiny bathroom. Anyone have any advice or insights?
