Mirror Size for Small Vanity

My husband and I are about to start remodeling our very old, very outdated bathroom. It's only around 60 square feet. We have to use a 32" vanity (Ikea Hemnes) that will be butted up to one wall on the right, and I'm trying to plan the size of the mirror above it. The mirrors I like are either 20 x 24, 24 x 36, or 30 x 42.

I don't think I have enough space for sconces, even with a 20 inch wide mirror, correct? 24 x 36 inch mirrors are aplenty, but I don't want the mirror to look dinky, with 8 inches of space leftover. And the 30 x 42 would make the overhead vanity lights too tall.

I did find a 30 x 30 mirror, but it's in walnut and I'm not sure it would work with our other finishes we're planning. What is the best route to go here?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
