Comments (4)The size of the 3 light is a good size. Yes, I think these look kind of heavy. Maybe if your frame on the mirror is a really thick frame, that might help. Other than that I would go for something with a thinner bar. See some options below. If you get a chance, please post a picture of your mirror. Comments (5)I remember in my first house, I made a recessed closed niche all along the vanity between the faucet and the mirror. I found it really useful, I just wish I could find a better option than sliding doors to access the inside. I don't know, if 30 years later there would be a better option ... maybe you can make that recessed space higher than the faucet and have a pressure button latch that is hidden at the back of the door (sorry, I am missing some english vocabulary, hopefully you understand what I mean)....See MoreWhat size mirror(s) should I use over a 60” double sink vanity?
Comments (4)One thing to keep in mind if you're going with Theresa Peterson's recommendation is location of any power outlets, if you have any - need to make sure that they remain accessible. You can always hang the mirror(s) above them, but then the mirror(s) may be too high. I have that issue with my currently remodeled master (this is the "before" photo) - because of the power outlets, and because each mirror needs to be centered with its respective faucet, I cannot do wider mirrors (even though I have the space, theoretically):...See MoreKristin

5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoOk, here we go. The bathroom is actually currently two bathrooms, separated by a pocket door original to our 1968 home. The first picture is of the "hall bath," which currently holds a vanity and a toilet, opposite one another and is so small you can't see the toilet until you have already closed the door behind you. On the other side of the pocket door is another toilet and the bathtub. Our plan is to put the vanity in the current location of the toilet in the first picture (furthest to the right.) So, the vanity, toilet, and tub/shower will all be along the same wall. Does that make sense? It is so tight with the wall and pocket door between the two spaces it's hard to get photos. Needless to say, it is pretty awful right now.
So the wall on the left, between these two spaces, will be gone. There is about 36 inches from the far right wall to the edge of the toilet that is staying, thus the 32" vanity. We have 8' ceilings.
