Suggestions for exterior color for Mediterranean style stucco home
We are in the final stages of a major renovation of a house we purchase 5 months ago and now focusing on the exterior. Most of the exsisting landscaping has been removed and plans are in the works, as well as, reconfiguring the front stairway and removing all this orangy stone. My main issue at the moment is choosing a paint color that will still compliment the reddish colored roof and the stone in the courtyard (mainly same stone as walkway). Although the current color suits this style home, it is not my favorite, and there is just too much of it. The brackets under the roof and windows are a dark brown. Any suggestions appreciated! TYIA

Comments (2)Your home has very traditional windows and trim so it will be your furniture and décor that will need to give that Mediterranean feel. Comments (5)Yeah, I'm also worried you might be looking at lights that are too small. What's there now is definitely too small! When you look for new outdoor lights, choose fixtures that are a quarter to one-third the garage door's height. They may look a little large when you're close up, but remember these lights need to be seen from far away too. (Advice comes from our light sizing guide.) Comments (16)@Beverly i will post more pictures later that are close up and a little clearer. the bones of the house have a french-mediterranean vibe more than any other style i have seen. there are several arches and french-style accents that i will try to capture for you. the house (before the garage addition) looked very similar to your second pic, it had a flat roof/patio like that, but i had to take it down and rebuild that part, unfortunately. thank you for posting pics, i like the look of the last one....See MoreRelated Professionals
