bathroom vanity lighting

My husband and I have spent HOURS looking at lighting for our new bathroom vanity. 74" long with two sinks, one on each end. (15 inches from each sink midline to edge of counter top). We would like wall sconces and ordered these in brushed nickel: https://www.lampsplus.com/products/george-kovacs-chrome-20-inch-wide-bathroom-light-fixture__h7689.html

However, now that they have arrived, they look too big, since we had hoped to put one on either side of each sink mirror.

I know from viewing many, many pictures that 3 wall sconces is common and pleasing in appearance, but the cabinet configuration is almost always different than what we have ordered. Here is our cabinet:

We are now trying to figure out alternative positioning for the sconces and perhaps going with one long mirror:

1. Center a sconce over each sink?

2. Put a sconce on outside of each sink and one over each sink?

3. Put a sconce on outside of each sink and one over the mirror in the middle of the vanity?

Any suggestions much appreciated. The contractor is coming on Monday to begin tearing out!
