I'm no expert but I thought I could do the same with similar lights/layout and then realized that my mirror size would be too small/end too close to the middle of the sink and the light on the right would be too close to the wall. We ended up switching to vanity lights over the mirror.

Thanks! We are sure leaning that way. I have one big mirror now and I'm not sure I'd happy with mirrors over each sink, especially since they would have to be only 17 wide, the wide of each sink in order to leave the necessary wall space for a scone.

You can do a sheet mirror with sconces mounted on the mirror. One on each side of the sinks.

Thanks! We spent a LOT of time looking for something slimmer and no luck. I think we did see one that was 3 inches wide but did not come in brushed nickel and looked very shiny in the store. Something slimmer would definitely be better, but where is it to be had??

We have looked hard, VERY hard! I see nothing that is 2 inches wide, and only one that is 3 inches and that has an LED "module", so the bulb could never be changed, if need be. My husband doesn't want something like that. I don't think the very narrow ones come with changeable bulbs.

I've concluded that in order to have sconces on either side of two mirrors, I think our counter would need to be longer than 74". In order to have three sconces, our cabinet would need to be different.

I'm encouraged that m_gabriel came to the same conclusion with a similar situation. Makes me think I'm not off base.
