Comments (3)Kim, you & I are in thE same boat! Well sort of. My kitchen cabs are about the same shade as yours. Check out my thread in decorating to see my pics. I too have black counters and I am stressing over paint. I'm leaning toward a grey, or a few Greys, but Greys without brown. I've used Behr's Sandstone Cove in LR and that is very neutral so works well. I see you have black accents in kitchen, looks good. But I think you need a pop of color! Comments (6)@Jennifer K I was treating the charcoal as a neutral, but, now when you said it, it does feel a bit weird having two strong dark colors (navy and charcoal), so I think I will go with the charcoal only. Coral actually doesn't look bad at all! Old brick fireplace was my husbands wish, I like it too, but my problem is that I don't know how to handle it, since I am not at all "red person", and I am really bad in decorating with red. Comments (10)I don’t know if you will go for this color, but it is absolutely perfect for fleeting daylight. It is also a winner with Revere Pewter and white or off whites. It is a color which can be cute or sophisticated, depending on furniture and fabrics. B.M. Violet Pearl.
