you could do a faux finish antique mirror on the wall following the stair line. Add small console with fresh flowers and larger vases to the side. Bigger but fewer decor pieces for a luxurious look:) If you're into small projects, making faux finish mirrors is easy. Do you have a coat closet ? If not I would look for small armoire for that space where the art is . As for a console table I think I might do a shelf with a drawer instead of a console table since you do not really have much space there Hang a piece of art above it to fit between the switches.

It appears your foyer is just not large enough to put any piece of furniture there without infringing on the DR space. You might have a wall mounted shelf on the wall before the kitchen entry and possibly place a stool underneath it for seating. Possibly, not knowing how large your dining table is, you could orient it perpendicular to the windows, which could give you more wall space for your entry. As for the light, just make sure it is over your table. Don't worry about whether it is centered with the front windows.

It doesn't look like you have room for furniture. And mirrors are not right for your space. I agree - get a great runner, and add large, dramatic pieces of art, strategically placed. I don't like the reflection of the pendant lights on the textured walls - think about how the light will shine and reflect as you buy new fixtures.
