Need help ID'ing 8 succulents/cacti, thank you!
Hi! I've been lurking and reading the posts in this forum for quite some time now. I've enjoyed the input this community has to offer! I've done my due diligence on trying to ID my succulent collection, but the following succulents below, have given me the hardest time to ID myself with no luck :(. I'm finally in need of help! Any advice or tips that can lead me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
#1. I believe this is an aloe of some sort? Closest match I've found so far, is Aloe congolensis., but I'm not sure if it that's accurate.
#2. No idea on this one below.
#3. The one below is definitely very similar to my Plectranthus tomentosa, but the leaves on this one are definitely thinner and does not have the scent of the Vick's plant. Actually would catch a scent of weed from it. Haha. Looks similar though. Part of the same genus?
#4. Euphorbia of some sort?
#5. Definitely looks like a Kalanchoe. I already have the Mother of Thousands and Pink Butterflies succulents. This one is different from those. Especially since there are no markings underneath the leaves. Just not sure what kind of Kalanchoe, unless it's something entirely different...?
#6. Have no clue on this one.
#7. Maybe some type of Echeveria? I doubt it though.
#8. Mammilaria? But not sure of what specific type.

Comments (12)I grow Schick hybrids, most are not as tall as that one, and darker green, though the spines and ribs seem the same, and the Schick hybrids do have all of the species in them that is mentioned above, including Rebutia. Well not quiet all of them. And they can be figured out by the flower, if you have the flower chart in color to do so. Keep your labels make duplicate copies of them, and put one in the bottom of the pot. Not all of them look alike, some hardly have any spines, and others have long ones, Bob Schick used to tell them apart by looking at them. Sorry for such a long post, Echinopsis are grown just like any other cactus and need the same care, for flowering give them a low 0-20-10 fertilizer approx. The middle number must be higher, the first number very low. No water in the Winter, they must have the chill and dormant periods to flower. They are extremely hardy, will flower 6 mo. at least of the year from the end of April to the end of Sept. depending on you climate, light where you grow them, feeding. What did you repot your plant in? Is it better now? I would have liked to help with you questions regarding the roots, but I am too new to plants for that; I'd say they look okay although they do seem short... and too compact? Comments (8)bt - I ask for the fallen leaves if I see some I want, never had been told "no". But make sure you don't take any from the stem - you wouldn't want to buy a plant with picked off leaves... No more preaching, good you realized that it wans't good thing to do. I appreciate that you didn't just disappear after getting a mini-lecture... I can't id the leaves, but if any grow you will be able to. Don't worry about temps inside, they will be ok. They should get light, but not necessarily sun at this point. Black one is most likely goner. I usually leave them just laying around, on the table, or top of the mix. I plant them in potting mix once there is little plant. Some ppl will bury leaves. Whatever you decide to do, make sure they don't get too much water on them. Don't expect all of them to start growing. Often, you'll see tiny hair-like roots growing, other times first a little plant & no roots, until later. Comments (5)#2 looks like jade - Crassula ovata, that needs some help. I think I see some water in saucer below it? (I am talking about pic/plant #2, not the original one). Not sure, but if yes, that water needs to be disposed off. Mix that succulents are potted in needs to dry out between watering. Leaving excess water in the saucer will just keep soil too wet for too long. Especially if it is water-retaining. Your soil should not stick to perlite so much - either there is too much peat in the soil you used, and/or something is too wet. Sorry for repeating myself - I said same in your other post. But it is important to make sure of good drainage = both soil and container. Use wooden stick-dowel with sharpened end-chopstick to check soil deep inside of pot to make sure it is dry enough before watering. Looking or checking just the surface could be misleading. In winter, many succulents need less water and especially if in cooler locations. Your last plant needs to get rejuvenated to make sure of correct ID - there are few plants that look alike and could be more difficult to ID unless in better condition....See Morealoebot

They get really pretty pinkish purple flowers:).
#8 is definitely a Mammillaria, but that's all the help I can do for that one;).
#2 I think is some type of Aichryson? I've seen this plant before.
