However, with your pump, the water won't move fast enough. Also, with a cartridge filter, dilution will be a problem. Tablets add a stabilizer called cyanuric acid, aka CYA or conditioner. While CYA protects chlorine against the Sun's rays, its the unstabilized levels of chlorine that do the work. CYA doesn't leave the water except by dilution. Therefore, it keeps building up to make the chlorine levels unmanageable. The pool will need periodic draining to dilute it and with a cartridge filter, this is problematic. With salt cells, I like the Intellichlor. The don't add CYA as they produce chlorine. Once the CYA is added, its pretty much done except for when you have rain and need to lower the pool some. Fortunately its cheap and not often needed. I encourage you to go this route. I would check with your local code officials on fence requirements. That type of fencing in my area doesn't meet code and I suspect it won't in your area either. Scott...See MoreCabinet Color: I'm crushed! I thought BM Stone Hearth was IT...
Comments (15)Your kitchen isn't actually possessed, it just has 2 neutrals from 2 different hue families. Trying to add a third hue is going to be difficult because anything that is close to the hue of the flooring will look too pink next to the countertops. Any thing close to the hue of the countertops will look green next to the floor, You could stay with white cabinets or use a navy blue or gray green....See MoreHelp! They’re both comprised of violet/pink undertones, which is intensified under cool light (ie: daylight) and all but disappears under warm lighting, (ie: warm pot lights). These colours are rooted in a brown base colour that leaves the impression of a warm gray, but typically remaining light and neutral!" There is also Classic Gray – LRV: 74.74, Pale Oak – LRV: 69.89, Dreamy Cloud - LRV:76 meaning it will reflect quite a bit of light back into a room. In an intensely lit room with direct sunlight, it will fade out quite a bit but will regain its colour once the sun shifts....See MoreAny thoughts on paint colors that look nice with brown?
Comments (26)I really like this color of wood blinds. I had the same in my last two homes and had warm off-whites, khaki, and a lovely green in various rooms. And I had curtains with them. My house now has all white wood blinds, I miss the stained ones! They looked good from outside, too, with my exterior stone. I’m in Texas, same orange peel wall texture. Another thing roundly disliked on these boards, but I personally like the texture. :) Hope you heal quickly! ETA: They can look nice with darker colors, too: Look up inspiration pics for lots of ideas, including rooms with bamboo blinds or indoor shutters, which is a similar look (below). Try ’paint colors with oak blinds’, too. I think these blinds look better in these rooms than white would: This wall color is Dulux Brave Ground, their 2021 Color of The Year:...See MoreKim
