No VOC Engineered hardwoods at $5 / sq ft

We are building a house and believe we need 3500 square feet of wood flooring, which I think includes our overage estimate, but might not. I'm looking for 7"+ white, prefer the European, oak engineered hardwoods in a lighter finish. I'd like a fairly smooth texture, so no handscraping, etc. I suppose I would accept a CARB2 compliant product potentially, but want to explore all NO VOC products first. My budget with installation is $8/sq ft all in, so my builder suggested $5/sq ft, but maybe slightly more, so I'll ask for up to $6 / sq ft with materials. The photo is an example of the finish and style that I like. Would love your suggestions for vendors, brands, etc.!!!! ( The photo isn't showing up for some reason.
