anyways. I want to do squares, I had arabesque which goes great in my house but I think it’s too much this time.

I was at the tile showroom yesterday. I really love Sonoma Tilemakers' Stellar line.

Top photos shows the Ann sacks which is too blue on the right are ken mason samples in rain just not sure how that works with tile on the floor but it really works with the madre perla

Thanks for the suggestions. I have narrowed it down to two possibilities. First is ken mason in rain. The second is a Winchester tile in tern. I will have an actual sample next week. Below is a photo.

fyi. Winchester is in stock and half the price of the others so I’m going to hold out to see a sample of it

Just want to also praise your kitchen. what stunning cabinetry. I have zero photoshopping skills but from what I see of the backsplash you posted in the first post I think it would be incredible. (in a good way:)

Photo is still not quite straight on. I think you said the larger sample shown is Ken Mason in rain - that is what I tried to piece together and show here.

Please include the size of the tiles so I can better show. I'm assuming 3" tall.

And here's 4" tall (assuming 18").

When you said you would like a square tile, did you mean squares or rectangular?

I do love Winchester tile too.

I can't photoshop the other tiles you've shown. If you can find a grouted pattern taken from straight on, it makes this much easier.

Such as this sample: (Winchester Villette on Papyrus) (Oh I love it, but with a simpler countertop).

This does not do it justice but I was curious. Here you can see the impact of variations of color on a small sample.

You are correct the ken mason in my pic is 3x6 and I am ordering it in a 4x4 size and using a slightly darker grout color than what the sample is done with

Ooh, the Ken Mason tile is such a great choice. The closeup of it with your counter is to die for gorgeous!

What size are your upper square glassed cabinets? I have a four 15" square and am loving your glass. We thought about replacing the doors or bringing them somewhere to have the center panel replaced with glass and I want to show DH your photo.

yes, my cabs are 15" on top. we had those ordered with glass but the lowers we did later. I couldn't decide and I ultimately did all of them...I really love the glass with wood plus I have so much wood...

anyways, good luck that is a fairly easy project to router out the panel and I bought glass at a local glass company.

Hey! not yet, I just talked with the tile lady and she said the order is delayed until first week of june. Hoping to get it up by mid June!

HI there everyone, unfortunately Ken Mason is unable to make the tile in my order as they show in the showroom. Color variation is just too much for what I want.

Anyways, I was hoping Oldbat could photoshop the color Mere below from winchester. I'm going to chose from one of their colors.

just put up the tile today. i chose winchester squares in the tern color. i will post a photo after I have grouted. thanks for asking:)

Hi, heres a peek, not finished yet, a few things to work on but the tile is pretty.

Aaaah. SO satisfying with your gorgeous cabinets. How is it with the countertop- I can’t quite tell.

I really loved the Ken Mason color better with the counter but this color def. works great with the counter and the cement tile "rug" I have as well. I also have an old door from India that was made into a cabinet that works with this color on the other side of kitchen so it comes together nicely.

@isabel98 I've been looking at square Winchester, and your backsplash is beautiful! I don't want much of a grout line. Did you use spacers?
