I can't find Big Smile (Sweet Chris) anywhere?
Comments (7)HI Gardengal48 - thank you so much for the info on Big Smile. I'll wait and see if I can find it cheap, maybe in August when the places try to clear out their inventory. And I never see them cheap where I live. Even my HD doesn't mark down or do clearance plants. Not fair! :) Creech444 - I went through homedepot stock with a fine tooth comb. Not a one. But I'm going to be on the look out for it. thanks for the info. Stonybrook - I've heard that a local nursery carries Hines plants - but I've also heard that this nursery is charging 39.00 for the hydrangeas!! I don't care how big they are, I would rather pay much less, get a small plant and watch it grow. That way I get to see them mature, and I get more plants for my money. Gardengal - your not alone, I'm on the east coast, Long Island NY and the prices here are v. high. I guess it depends on the specific area where someone lives. Thanks, you guys/gals have been really helpful. Razorback33 - thank you. With your info I was able to find a local nursery who does carry Hines. I will take a look later in the summer (they are a pricey nursery)....See MoreCan't find post anywhere--can I put my oven next to my fridge?
Comments (15)Like pdxgal, I've had my fridge and wall ovens next to each other for 20 years with no problem. I, too, don't want to change my electrical service for those appliances, so the new ones will occupy the same positions. That said, you should be sure to e-mail customer service of the company that manufactures your new refrigerator and ask what their policy is regarding ovens and refrigerators next to each other. GE customer service told me it would void the refrigerator warranty. KA customer service told me the warranty would still be in effect, but they recommended 3 inches between the appliances if it was possible. I am going with the KA built-in side-by-side, and I have their answer IN WRITING (love e-mail!) regarding this appliance issue. FYI: When I asked GE customer service by telephone whether their policy was "carved in stone", they said yes. But their own marketing brochures have at least two photographs where their ovens and fridges are right next to each other!...See MoreI can't find an Okna, Soft-lite dealer anywhere!
Comments (18)I concur that finding dealers and showrooms is very difficult for the upper tier vinyl windows. I could not find a decent okna dealer here in MN and had to use google to find local sunrise dealers. When i contacted Sunrise, they gave me one dealer. I then replied saying these are who I found, can you just give me a list of all the dealers in your area, and he replied that one of my listed dealers was highly regarded. I was taken aback and told him that I dont understand your logic here. Dont you want to sell your windows? You’re making it difficult for would be customers to get access to your products. I’d like to look ay all of your area dealers to get some quotes and get a feel for their workmanship before I commit to anything. He never did provide me with a list of dealers. Fortunately, I liked one of the dealers and his price... but they make it more difficult than it needs to be. Best of luck. Use Google to your advantage. I looked at every high rated window dealer in my area, scoured their sites, called, or emailed to see if they were a dealer for the windows I wanted....See MoreI am dying for a Florentina. I can't find one to purchase anywhere!
Comments (22)Fresh garden Living on Etsy has it. I have purchases several roses from Karyn. They are small but very healthy. Own root and organically grown. She's from Oregon and ships USPS so your rose arrives pretty quickly. https://www.etsy.com/listing/289262033/florentina-arborose-climbing-rose-bush?ref=shop_home_active_7 Sharon...See Morejessicalacey
