After I fully saturate both lash lines with Latisse, I still have some left over. For the past 2-3 months I have been using it on my brows. There isn't enough to get them really wet, but they're both damp. I carefully follow my natural brow line. I can see a difference, more filled in, slightly darker.

I like the duo with the brush. It only takes a little bit blended and looks very natural, not a painted fake look at all.

I use a brown Bare Minerals powder and a small brush.

I use either a long wear eye pencil or a gray-taupe eye liner powder. Anything too brown looks reddish on me. But recently I started dying my eyebrows because they have become so pale, and they have always been thin and barely there. Makes a huge difference and only takes about 5 minutes every 3 weeks. Then I just have a little bit to fill in when it starts to fade.

I started using E.L.F brow pencil in Taupe and it is the best I have ever used. I learned about it on this site. Taupe is natural looking and the pencil is easy to apply. It is $2 at Target, can you believe? I bought a bunch of them and give them to pals and they too love it. I hope it works for you.

When hair is gone I find it's best to use something to draw some hairs and then a powder to fill in also. I think it gives a more natural look.

For a powder I like Mac Brun eyeshadow and a dupe is Loreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Singles in Antique Brown. It's a chameleon color and would work on almost anyone. They're matte and not as dark as they look in the pan. Don't let that scare you. I use a short angled brush to apply.

For penciling in little hairs I always came back to Maybelline Define A Brow because the tip is very fine and you can achieve the look of tiny hairs. You don't have to mess with sharpening either. My complaint with this product now is they used to have more colors.

FWIW, when I'm finished filling my brows I always use hair gel on them. Currently use Tresemme because that's what was in the travel size section. Put a dab on the top of my hand and with my finger just swipe it across then fix the arch/hair with my fingers. Sounds like it would make a mess but it doesn't. They also don't look slicked or crunchy. I have fuller brows and the hairs are long. If I trim at the length too much I'll end up with areas to fill in. The gel keeps stuff in place and makes them more refined. At any rate, try slappin some gel on a brow and see what you think! It just might be awesome. :)

Shee, I have to use wax that comes in a tube, found in the men's department for my brows. As I've gotten older some lashes stand upwards and they're almost impossible to keep down.

Outside, how to you dye your brows?

I use clinique eyebrow shaper -- it's a powder that goes on with a small angled brush. Works well for me. I like the color which is more of a gray charcoal which matches my natural brow color. A lot of the powders are brown or taupe and don't look as good on me.

I recently started dying my eyebrows. I had them done once professionally and really liked how it looked. It definitely fills in where brows are sparse. It’s super easy to apply and I only keep it on for 2-3 min. I try and do it every 3-4 weeks. This is the kit I used. I also watched a few videos.

Oakley, I use the Oakley, I use the Just for Men beard and mustache dye in light brown. Bought it on Amazon for around $10. You only use a dab of each tube so it will last a long time. I also use a small angled brown brush rather than the big brush that is supplied.

Thanks for posting that yayagal. I can't imagine using any of these products near one's eyes.

I'm going to give Maybelline Tattoo Studio Eybrow Gel a try this week.

I like that it's waterproof but not permanent and better than powders, etc. that rub off/transfer.

I use Maybelline 'Brow Drama' brow mascara, it has a brush and it thickens and colors the brow, I use light brown.

Oakley - Yes, wild brows! Mine tend to get messed up easily if I don't use the wax. I was tired of seeing photos later and my brows were messed up. I'm not sure how though because I don't touch my face after makeup is on. Wild brows. :)

I'm going to try some new products after seeing this thread. Time to mix it up.

I use wet n wild. It comes with a brush, wax, powder in 2 shades and small tweezers. Ultra cheap

One of the original uses for the active ingredient in Latisse was to treat glaucoma. I think this was discussed in another thread. However there are side effects with some people and it is discussed in the accompanying literature. It is also noted it should only be applied on the outside of the upper lashes, not on the lower lashes, and avoid getting in the eyes. If one should notice any symptoms, as with any drug, I would think you should stop using it immediately and contact the doctor.

One way to avoid this is to use a smaller brush than what comes with the kit. I am using a fine eyeliner brush. The ones that comes with the kit are huge.

I use completely used up mascara on my brows and it’s the most natural-looking, easiest thing ever. I have reasonably nice eye brows, nice shape and thickness, but they’re getting thinner. I just use an old mascara which has almost no product left on it and it does a beautiful job of making it just so slightly thicker and better defined.

Have you thought of having your eyebrows tattooed on? My grad school roomie had the world's thinnest, palest eyebrows. She had an experienced (notice *experienced*) make-up tattoo artist do her eyebrows. She said it is the best thing she's ever done! It doesn't scream, "I have a tattoo." She had to point out to me that she'd had it done.

Nuts, your post reminded me that I used to do that when I was younger and it worked, although my brows were thicker at the time. I have some mascara I'm not using so what I'll do is wipe the wand then try it on my brows.

I think I'll have to draw lashes on the tail of the brows.

Yaya, I got lazy using the serum on my lashes and brows, but I'm going to start back up on my brows in a less sloppier manner than I did before. :)

Shee, I use a strong wax and that won't keep some lashes from going straight up. Those are the ones I usually trim with scissors.

I use the Anastasia dip brow or the brow wiz for mine, though I tint my brows at home once a month so they’re not invisible (I’m a blonde). The brow gels I’ve tried have a wand similar to mascara but are too messy for the precision application I want from a brow product.

As my mom aged into her 80s, her skin slipped forward some so the ends of her eyebrows were no longer on her brow bone. If she had hers tattooed, they'd be permanently in the wrong place. Microblading is supposed to be a temporary tattoo for eyebrows...long lasting, but not permanent.

Yes Annie! I've been meaning to look into microblading. I have seen several tatooed eyebrows and I did not like them. But, they were all dark. I'm thinking on someone with lighter hair, they might look okay. I use something that is in a little jar - like a powder with a bit of wax. You use a brush to apply it.

I have naturally medium brown hair, but my eyebrows are black. I've thought about having them lightened a bit, but am too lazy to keep it up. They used to be perfectly arched, but as Oakley mentioned, mine too have become a bit sparse in recent years at the outer edges. And like you, Oakley, I tried using eyelash serum on them, only to have crazy eyebrow hairs sprouting noticeably outside my eyebrow line! Never apply that stuff before you go to bed for the night! I think that caused it to spread. Ugh! And so, black eyebrow pencil looks too harsh, and the dark brown looks too reddish. I'm forced to seek out the hard to find blackish--brown pencil. Still not perfect, but it just makes me very careful when using it.

I use Clinique brow shaper. It's like an eyeshadow. I like the stiff bristled brush that comes with it. I've tried other angled brushes but they were too soft and didn't work well. I am not exaggerating when I say I have had 2 of these in the last 20+ years and haven't use both completely. If I were to try something new, it would be the Anatasia one you're considering.

I use that Anastasia brow powder and it's wonderful and very natural looking. I use the lighter shade in the daytime and darker in the nighttime. I also use Latisse in my brows. I wish I could tell my teenage self to never pluck your brows!

I think of my eyebrows as as important as my hair, when it comes to grooming. I get them waxed, died and shaped about every 5-6 weeks. I feel like a new woman each time.

In between, i use a clear brow gel from the drugstore (maybelline? or cover girl iirc). I also bruch my brows upward with a thin comb and cut any stragglers.

I use a NYX eye liner pencil that is in the color Taupe. I have dark blonde hair so I need a lightish color for my brows with no red in it at all. This color is perfect for me and they are dirt cheap and one pencil will last ages. It is a pencil that has to be sharpened but it sharpens easily and doesn't break off. I have almost no stray brows anymore and seldom have to tweeze them.
