Comments (15)Btw, in my second comment pics above - just was showing the darker tan cushion color - a couple of examples. Was not necessarily suggesting lime green pillows, etc. Although you do have a range of colors you could incorporate/with various possibilities I would go with your core colors, the tan and black - and use mostly tan on cushions in seating areas, with some white/off white on cushions where it might be possible - as well as some throw cushions with white, black or both + terra Cotta accents, as I showed in my initial comment. Just to again show general idea and some black and white accenting. and lots of terra-cotta ideas above. And I think a shade of blue on umbrellas could be nice....See MoreHow would you place / interior decorate this space? Need help.
Comments (11)If wanting/needing seating to face a tv is not an issue, you might consider parallel rows of seating facing each other with the fireplace on one side and the windows on the other. If you like two seat sofas with seats that recline, that might be worth considering. A lot depends upon how plan to use the room. If you family includes piano players or others with musical talent, this kind of space with comfortable dining chairs that can double as den/audience seating might be where you want to set up for that kind of activity. If you don't already have your dining chairs picked out, then consider investing in chairs that could be used for comfortable casual seating in either the dining or family room space (perhaps even seating with wheels) and you'd not need as much permanent furniture in the foreground space since you could mingle the seating as needed....See MorePlease can I have help with how to design my living room space
Comments (13)Try a love seat facing fireplace, either up closer so traffice flow would be behind, or against wall where storage door is. Add some type of shelving/bookcase to the right of fireplace for storage and a small tv. Add an extra chair, narrow coffee table and a rug will help define it as a seating area. Accessorize and try Marketplace for some great finds. On other side of fireplace you could add large art and a fold downtable would be perfect for meals, entertaining and a spot for a laptop....See Moreastroball
