Anybody care to teach me to post photos from Photobucket?
Comments (3)If you want to post photos directly into your message you need to put some HTML tags around the links that Photobucket gives you. Copy the HTML code (as momof2 suggests) and add this to the beginning of the code: type this character put this next: (no space) url and then type the opposite character > at the end of the HTML code type this character put this next: /url type this last (no space): > the reason I have to spell it out for you is that when you do it correctly it disappears. Garden Web has a page just for people to practice posts like this. Or you can just keep doing "Preview" until it looks right. The photo should show up without having to click on a link once you get you code typed correctly. Good luck. Comments (7)turns out there is an application that you download and it automatically places pics in My photos and photobucket pics them up in seconds..so it was easily done. :) Yes I could have gotten a memory chip for my phone but you still have to stop and put the pic into that chip...at least it doesn't do it automatically on this phone. So be sure that the chip phone you get does it auto. I am glad I figured out a way to do mine very easily. :)...See Moredownload photobucket pics??
Comments (2)Thanks for your reply! I figured out it was me doing it wrong - because there was more than 50 pics, I tried to take a shortcut from the original page of thumbnails - I did each individually and it worked....See Moreunable to upload photo to photobucket
Comments (13)heck I would just quit using photobucket and start using one of the many many other free sites that are better than photobucket and have no limits. If you have pics already on then then use your daughters pc to move them from photobucket to the other hosting site. ok just noticed in all of this you have not told us what browser you are using to try to access you photobucket account, if you do not have firefox go get firefox and try it using that browser and see if you can do it that way. Let us know what browser you are using, the photobucket site may have somehow got put in your restricted list on the browser, we have to know which one to tell you how to look. Get firefox. super easy to do just download it and follow the install wizard, when it ask if you want to import your settings and bookmarks from IE say yes to all of that, you do not have to make it the default browser, the first time you open firefox it will take you to the firefox home page to let you know it downloaded properly, after that it will open to what ever was your home page on IE. Just a thought do you have all of your flash updated? I mentioned to you in the other thread you have on here about using the secunia tool to make sure you have everything else on your pc up to date since you said you had not updated java in years, if you have not updated flash and other stuff you can have problems and it makes you wide open to infections, go run that scan and make sure you have everything up to date!! and I would definitely run a malwarebytes free scan too, I gave you that info on the other thread also. Leaving a pc with out it's updates is very dangerous. Here is a link that might be useful: firefox...See More- 8 years ago
