Do you have a free account? Have you reached the size limit for it? If yes, you either have to get a paid account or begin removing photos that you no longer need to keep.

Gosh, I will have to look to see what the limit is and how much I have on there. It is a free account.

they have made changes lately I know but I have not had uploading problems, are you correctly logging into your account with the proper name and password?
I do not think there is any limit on the free photobucket accounts, I read the terms of service agreement and did not see any size mentioned.

You do have to have cookies enabled and not blocked, I would try clearing the cache in your browser and see if that helps. I would tell you how but you did not mention which browser you use.

I rarely use photobucket, have always preferred imageshack especially with the firefox add on it just makes using it so easy. Imageshack right click, love it.

there is also a great tool for use with windows xp (no idea if it works with other versions) for imageshack, you can right click any picture you have on your pc and select to send to imageshack and it will send it directly to your imageshack account page. Then of course all the various codes are available for use on forums.

I just tried to join tinypic, and they say they are a part of photobucket right now, so that took care of that!

I have tried everything mentioned above except the photobucket upgrade. I will try this now. I have been on this since 11:30 am today. It just took me 3 1/2hours on dial up to find a Java that I could get installed. It is the latest one. Photobucket said this would solve it in addition to 3 other things menitoned. No luck. I only have used 14MB so I am way under the limit.

did you clear the cache in your browser, delete temp folders and cookies?

I have cleared the cache, cookies temp folders the whole 9 yards.

when I was at my daughters I was able to access my photos and even upload a photo to my photobucket from her computer. So it is difinitly something with my computer. I have worked on this off and on all month. Many many hours. I am going to take the computer to the computer shop that I have done business with for years.

heck I would just quit using photobucket and start using one of the many many other free sites that are better than photobucket and have no limits. If you have pics already on then then use your daughters pc to move them from photobucket to the other hosting site.

ok just noticed in all of this you have not told us what browser you are using to try to access you photobucket account, if you do not have firefox go get firefox and try it using that browser and see if you can do it that way.
Let us know what browser you are using, the photobucket site may have somehow got put in your restricted list on the browser, we have to know which one to tell you how to look.
Get firefox. super easy to do just download it and follow the install wizard, when it ask if you want to import your settings and bookmarks from IE say yes to all of that, you do not have to make it the default browser, the first time you open firefox it will take you to the firefox home page to let you know it downloaded properly, after that it will open to what ever was your home page on IE.

Just a thought do you have all of your flash updated? I mentioned to you in the other thread you have on here about using the secunia tool to make sure you have everything else on your pc up to date since you said you had not updated java in years, if you have not updated flash and other stuff you can have problems and it makes you wide open to infections, go run that scan and make sure you have everything up to date!! and I would definitely run a malwarebytes free scan too, I gave you that info on the other thread also. Leaving a pc with out it's updates is very dangerous.

Just a guess.... Maybe if it took 3.5 hours to download a single 16mb java install file ... the photobucket server maybe doesnt like your connection when the upload connection goes slow/pauses/disconnects frequently.

Can you upload one picture at a time ?

UPDATE: I took the computer to the computer shop. I had spent days doing all that Photo-bucket said to try. I was able to upload from another computer so I new it had to be something with mine.

Turns out that my accelerator was interfering with it. If I turn it off while using photo-bucket the photo-bucket works great. I had been working on this issue for several weeks now.
