The pictures you show have warm wood tones, warm counter tops and warm floor. Would need to see a whole picture standing away from the area, but I have to agree with Sophie. No grey, it is a blah color that does not add to anything. What colors are you using in your kitchen now? Blue, green, red, yellow? Have a light color of that to the walls.

Thanks so much for the advice! I hesitate to post what I have on the walls now because I don't know what I was thinking, but what the heck. Here it goes. I do like the idea of the light blue gray because there's a little of that in the floor. I'm going to play around with the SW Color Snap website. I wish I was better at this stuff! A lot depends on what kind of natural and artificial light you get in there. Here's a birch kitchen with pale gray. It would help to see the whole space. People come to Dilemmas to fix something, otherwise there would be no Dilemmas! Normally I don't like gray in kitchens but gray does harmonize well with gold tones, which you have in the cabinets, floors, and countertops.

A light greige would work better than a gray. I would try Sea Salt or something similar. I also think you could stick with a creamy off white & it would look really nice.

The picture housegal shows is okay, but just think how pretty it would be if it matched the blue in the sky!!!

Give B.M. Natural Linen a try. There is just the right amount of a bronze undertone in it..I think it will look great. How about a different color for the cabinet hardware?

Bronze with copper accent. In expensive and I think it would make a big change in the look of the cabs.

Friedajune, thanks! I love the countertops so much! The refrigerator opens to the left. It's a small kitchen. Next home, I will have a big kitchen and big bathrooms.

Here is a photo of the kitchen. The stove is the last white appliance. When it starts "going" we'll replace it with stainless steel.

A friend, who is an artist, suggested an aqua/gray. I've tried to play around with the Sherwin Williams Visualizer to paint the walls, but the tools act up for me (or it's the user)

I like the above suggestion for natural linen. I use a similar color called shaker beige in mine and like that as well

I’m no artist, by any means, but I do work a lot with paint colors. Not sure I would choose an aqua, but, yes, I could see a blue.

Look at this strip (I like water’s edge, but it may be too dark for you) and see if anything catches your eye.

JudyG-my friend uses very vibrant colors when she decorates. I couldn't see it, but I wasn't sure if it was because I don't get colors and combinations. I do like that color above.

I"m trying to get the Color Snap to work so it can scan these colors and find a match so that I can play with the walls, but it seems to be down.
