I didn't watch it either, but can't avoid the news about it. Ari is the most hated man in bachelor history, not because of what he did apparently but HOW he did it. I did watch the season with Jason and Molly and Melissa. That's when Jason proposed to Melissa, then changed his mind that he wanted Molly. Jason and Molly are still married, with some kids. As is Melissa, to an old boyfriend. They also have a kid or two.

The whole concept behind that show... sorry, my romantic life is private!

(The only reality stuff I watch are cooking competitions, and a few HGTV home things... and not for the people.)

I don't watch any of the bachelor /bachelorette shows but it's been all over the news. I personally don't think the guy is good looking. I think all the women should walk out on him. Who wants to come in second? If he is so wishy-washy about this kind of thing what else? It's all rediculous.

I heard Becca, the rejection, is going to be the next bachelorette. So maybe she had to be rejected so she could be in the next show as the star.

I'm not a fan of those kind of shows, either. I've tried to watch an episode a few times, but all I can think of is how idiotic (for lack of a better word) it is to put yourself out there for all the world to see, in a ridiculous competition for someone's affection. How could anyone know what is 'real' when the cameras and who knows how many crew members are always right there. I do not understand the popularity of these shows, but 'different strokes for different folks', I guess. I was really NOT happy about "The Good Doctor' being replaced the other night! !

I’m with you Rusty. Not a fan of this or any of the Big Brother or Survivor type shows.

I just have to wonder why these are called reality shows. Whose reality?? Certainly nobody I have ever known.

Ok, I admit I watched it! I thought per the Bachelor/bachelorette's contract that they had no choice in the matter about what was aired. Apparently that is not the case as was stated by Ari, Chris Harrison, and other contestants last night. Ari was also caught in a few lies, one of which came out of his mouth last night. He did one wrong thing after another and to dig his grave even deeper, he proposed to Lauren in a room filled with Becca fans. Ari and Lauren will resurface soon on some other reality show :(

I can't imagine anyone actually goes on those shows really looking for love. If they are,their self esteem is WAY to low to be able to contribute to a healthy relationship.

I mean the concept: Come compete with a bunch if other women for the "affection" of one man,as if he's the last one on earth, beg for his attention, wallow in unjustified jealousy,and be sure to show how sexually appealing you are and put out on command or you likely don't have a shot,because that is the whole of your worth to the show and it's audience.

I agree with Raven. I read it was staged that way so Becca can be the launching pad for the next bachelorette. I don’t watch but it’s on all my news programs this week.

I was surprised that Becca will jump right back in this since she will now be the new Bachelorette.
