I plan to build a covered patio (not fully enclosed) that runs the entire back of the house. I'm planning to open window at the kitchen (left side) and convert to a 10ft sliding door. Also, opening window on room side (right side/beside the bathroom) for a 8 ft sliding door. The problem is that I already have a small covered patio right in the middle. Not sure what to with the roof lines for the kitchen side expansion or the room side expansion. I would not want to have to tear down the covered patio in the center. Anyone with ideas for roof lines? What type of roof would look great from the backyard looking towards the house?
