Bluestar Gas Smell

Hi. I have a 36 inch propane Bluestar RNB Series. I’ve had it for about 3-4 weeks. For the past week I have a strong scent of propane when the range is OFF. It’s under the range on bottom left hand side. I thought we had a propane leak. The fire department got no reading on their meters. Called propane company. The pulled the range out and did a test. No leak. Why is it smelling in one area with the range off?? We have contacted Bluestar for a technician but haven’t heard back yet. Anyone else have this issue??
