This is what I'd call Karma :) I'm actually just inside for a break from weeding. We've had the days and weeks of rain, and now a couple days of hot and humid weather ... and my garden has been overtaken with so many weeds I couldn't believe it. Its overwhelming to look at, let alone get started on. I've been outside for 3 hours and desperately needed water, and a break with air conditioning. So I came in here to read a couple posts and this was one of the first I saw!!! We have a humidex warning for the air today and you're soaked with sweat just standing outside, let alone doing the actual weeding. This year there are weeds out there that I've never even sen before, and some sort of grassy looking thing that has taken over my vegetable gardens. The roots are shallow, but horizontal so it makes it very difficult to pull out. And then there are the mosquitoes. It is 1 pm in blistering hot sun and there are mosquitoes?!? I just try to keep thinking about how good the garden will look LATER, or I'd probably give up, lol! Grrr, and now I should head back out for more. Hope everyone has a great (holiday) weekend :)

Hi Deborah and all I will definitely pick up Rescue Remedy and keep it for those times at work when I feel like biting heads off! LOL I only took the kava once today because I was off on a vacation day...............no stress. Getting off of HRT was not an easy decision for me at all. I was feeling so wonderful with my every other day regimen, I wish it could go on forever. But then I stared to think about the five years I have been on different HRT and thought maybe I should try it ala natural! Things are getting better now, but my life has certainly changed. For one thing I was never ever warm...........cold yes.warm never! That has changed..sometimes I get those warm feelings and I feel so uncomfortable and then it passes. I think I slept deeper when I was taking FemHRT...now I awake several times a night...........no biggy because I do go back to sleep...but still that's not the same. You know about the nerves, but thank goodness for my Kava! LOL The weather her in NY is to change drastically tonight, so maybe I will be cold once again. Have a good evening everyone.

1) I had finally got a hair cut (^_^) 2) Machine knitted hats for charity (^_^) 3) Set up another 3-tiers book shelf and had organized all the knitting books that have been laying everywhere around the house (^_^) "To do" list for the next few days and weeks: 1) Routine back up the laptop 2) Clean the dining room to make room for knitting machines. 3) Clean out stored stuffs from the 3 bedrooms. I really need to do a garage sale. Sigh... I say this every year and haven't gotten to it.

Okay all sounds great! The potting soil does seem very dense so I agree with that. And I'll also change the pots but just thought they would need a big pot to grow in for years to come... I also tend to make my own potting mix and I'm wondering if I should use the potting soil and just mix in some perlite for more airy mix and some sphagnum for a ph around 6? This is what I do for my cacti and they thrive but don't know if the mix will work for peppers. Thanks to everyone for all the help and hopefully these pants will spark back after I fix some things!
