How did this project go? I'm really interested in doing a waterfall and wanted to try and use hypertufa, preferable for the entire project but I can not find anyone that has actually done this. Lots of people use this for rock on the sides of ponds, but not the waterfall itself. Any direction or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Our kids brush their teeth and drink from the faucet, very common but not so sanitary. Eventually the finish eroded from the faucet at that location. We decided to try a water fountain instead of a cup. It's been a few months; they use it, we use it, it is handy for a quick drink or rinse the sink. Now we don't run the faucet while brushing - quick rinse the brush under the bubbler then rinse and spit. We got a push-button which is easier for shaky hands - turning handles is not so easy when you are older. This model is Kohler we purchased used at an auction site. There are $30 push-button models new from China. One small issue - if you hold the brush in your right hand, you have to reach way over with your left to operate, and stand a bit to the side. We could move it to the left side but the high faucet might be in the way of your face. Ah, first world problems. Aside: we really like the soap dispenser instead of a bottle. It's a color photo, the bath is in shades of white and grey

I think it depends on the look you're trying to achieve as well as budget but natural stone, granite, and high quality copper are all options for something like this that won't erode or rust.

I don't have experience with an urn-type water feature, but typically you winterize a water feature by removing the pump and draining the water, especially from tubing. Essentially you don't want anything to crack or break from freezing water when the temperatures dip.
