That is so neat! Can't wait to se it on your site! Is it there now for us to watch? We taught our dog lots of tricks that way! I guess it works the same all animals. The first trick was the hardest. After he understood the "treats for work" idea, he flew through the rest of them. It's teaching them the concept of treats in exchange for accomplishment that's the key. I like the hoola hoop and shaking hands tricks. When I have more time, I'm going to try them with a hen.

Here's the deal, the larger size and weight actually make it easier to hoop at first. Did your daughter just get a cheapie hoop from Walmart? If so, she may get frustrated with it. If she wants a lighter weight hoop, that still has enough weight for an adult to use she should check out the hoops at Hoopnotica and Canyon Hoops She might want to especially check out the Hoopnotica travel hoop. It comes in 6 sections, and can be put together using either all 6 or only 5 sections, which can be helpful for smaller people or those with limited space to hoop in. I do still have my red clackers somewhere! I had the ankle one too but it was not the lemon twist it had a red ball on the end. We all did the hula hoops, my sisters were very good they were older than me. I jumped the hula hoop. We also had these big bamboo poles that two people held one on each end and tapped them on the ground then together and we had to jump in between with out getting smashed by the poles, I don't remember what that was called, I was actually pretty good at that one. And remember pick up sticks?Pick-up sticks I still have my Chinese fortune telling sticks too. They come in a canister and you would gently shake the can till one stick fell out. Each one had a fortune on it. the Foo Chu those are the exact ones I still have lol. Did anyone else have a Frosty snow cone maker? shaped like Frosty the snow man and you put ice cubes in and cranked it and it shaved the ice to make snow cones. I had the coke fountain too have no idea where that is because it would probably have some value.

Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. I would do 15 minutes to the right and then 15 to the left. Again, it did help my waistline, but as soon as you stop, the results wear off almost immediately. I don't understand why this is. I can be away from my weights and my arms can still stayed toned for 3 weeks while on vacation.
