We just opened up our living room to expand it by taking down the wall and merging what was a tiny living room with a bedroom.

Our living room has always been a challenge to layout and while the new space is fantastic, it’s still a bit awkward because it’s L shaped. I’m attaching pictures (everything is a mess because the workers are still finishing plastering and painting as well as other projects). Yes, that’s a weird window in the wall that used to face a deck but a previous owner walled in that deck to a 3rd bedroom. That bedroom has full bath and it’s own private entrance so we won’t need to access it from this room much because it will become an Airbnb/guest room.

Anyway, I’d love any suggestions for furniture layout. Many thanks and happy to provide more info if needed!
