Comments (3)Welcome to California! Is the wall beside the fireplace large enough to house the tv. I see in one pic attached they have a console table to the left of the FP, i would put your tv there, a sectional would be a bad idea here but you might get away with a sofa that has a chase at the end which would be placed to the side of the sliding glass door....See MoreFurniture Placement in odd shaped living room
Comments (17)I think these are my favorite! i never would have pushed the furniture over that far towards the stairs. But I like it. what would you put in the back "nook" and then now at the bottom right of the layout (which leads into the dining room)? anything? Kids toy organization will go somewhere for the next few years :)...See MoreL shaped living room / dining room layout
Comments (16)I like Manon's layout the best. In your current layout (where you just moved the furniture), pull that chair out of the corner and closer to the sofa so that people have to walk AROUND the seating area instead of THROUGH it. Please do not buy one of those combo TV console/fireplaces. They are truly an abomination. It you want a fireplace, install an electric or ventless one on the wall, add a mantel shelf that's longer than the TV and mount the TV on an articulating arm. If you don't do a fireplace, mount the TV anyway so you can turn it to watch from the sofa....See Moresheloveslayouts
